Please read through the following Terms and conditions of use (‘Terms’) as, by using www.avivamymoney.co.uk, you agree to be bound by them. These Terms may be varied from time to time as set out below.
References on this site to ‘Aviva’, ‘us’ and ‘we’ should be understood as references to one or several of Aviva Pension Trustees UK Limited (UKPTL), Aviva Life & Pensions UK Limited (UKLAP), Aviva Investment Solutions UK Limited (AISUKL) and Aviva Trustees UK Limited (ATUKL), or their successors in title.
Definitions
‘Content’ means certain material and information available on the My Money site and made available to you.
'My Money' site means the website located at www.avivamymoney.co.uk
‘Services’ means the services, where made available to you, on the My Money site that allow you to electronically interact with the My Money site.
‘Aviva group’ means the Aviva group of companies of which Aviva plc is the ultimate holding company.

Our service is provided at your own direct request without advice or a personal recommendation and allows you to invest in what we have deemed to be non-complex instruments. In providing this service we are not required to assess the suitability of the instrument or service provided to you and, as a result, you will not benefit from the protection of the FCA rules on assessing suitability. We will therefore not assess whether: (i) the relevant product or service meets your investment objectives; (ii) you would be able financially to bear the risk of any loss that the product or service may cause; or (iii) you have the necessary knowledge and experience to understand the risks involved.
If you are unsure whether a product or service is suitable for you, you should consult a financial adviser who can give you a personal recommendation. They may charge for this service.
We have taken all reasonable steps to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the Content that Aviva produces and provides on the My Money site. Some of the Content may be produced by third parties such as your employer, pension scheme trustees, your employer’s financial adviser or other relevant third parties. Where third parties have provided the Content we;
- are not liable or responsible for it; and
- have not endorsed it; and
- do not give any representations or warranties, expressed or implied, as to it’s accuracy.
We will use reasonable efforts to make the My Money site available for access at all times. However, due to the nature of the internet, there may be circumstances when the My Money site or part of it is unavailable or access is suspended. Consequently all companies within the Aviva group exclude any warranties, undertakings or representations (either expressed or implied) to the full extent permitted under the law, that the My Money site, Content or Services are available for use.
No company within the Aviva group accepts any liability for loss of any kind incurred directly or indirectly including economic losses (without limitation loss or revenues, data, profits, use, opportunity, business or anticipated savings) arising out of the unavailability of the My Money site or Content or Services.
We may make changes to the Content or Services described on the My Money site;
- to take into account any material change in the law (or interpretation of the law), regulations or recommendations of the Financial Conduct Authority, Prudential Regulation Authority or other regulators;
- to provide for new or improved products or Services;
- if we reasonably believe that the change is necessary to protect the interest of the Aviva group; or
- for any valid reason not stated in these Terms.
We will give you 30 days notice if we make a change to the Content or Services, unless the change is to your advantage or of no disadvantage to you. If the change is to your advantage or of no disadvantage, we can make the change immediately without notice.
Where we have included links to third party websites we are not making any statement, warranty or representation as to the quality or contents of the other site as we do not have responsibility for that other website. Please note that when accessing another site by way of a hypertext link you may leave the My Money site.
To access the My Money site you will have been given a username and password and be required to set up and answer security questions. You are responsible for ensuring that your username, password and security questions are kept secret and not divulged to any third party. You must inform us immediately of any breach of this requirement.
Aviva may terminate your right to use the My Money site, the Content and Services at its absolute discretion:-
- by giving you one month’s prior written notice at any time; or
- by giving you notice with immediate effect if you are in breach of these Terms, or
if you cease to be an employee of your employer you will be able to continue to access the My Money site, however, access to some of the Services may change.
On termination of your right to use the My Money site, your right to access the Content and Services, if relevant, will cease.
If you have a Workplace Retirement Account AISUKL has the power and is authorised to collect the monies paid on your behalf by your employer to the My Money platform relating to all Workplace Retirement Account investments. AISUKL has the power and is authorised to transfer those monies to UKLAP, and UKLAP is authorised to hold these monies. AISUKL is authorised to receive the investment choices submitted in relation to the Workplace Retirement Account and to pass them on as dealing instructions to UKLAP.
If you have a Flexible Retirement Account AISUKL has the power and is authorised as the collecting agent of the monies paid on your behalf by your employer to the My Money Platform relating to all Flexible Retirement Account investments. AISUKL has the power and is authorised to transfer those monies to ATUKL, and ATUKL is authorised to hold these monies. AISUKL also has the power and is authorised to allocate payments to the Flexible Retirement Account in accordance with the payment terms set out in any direct debit instruction(s) you have made or payment instruction (as appropriate) given by your employer.
Aviva reserves the right to vary these Terms from time to time by posting an amended version on the My Money site.
If any provision or part of a provision, of these Terms is found by the Courts to be illegal, invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be deemed to have been deleted and the remaining provisions shall remain in force.
These Terms and the use by you of the My Money site are governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The Courts of England and Wales shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any claim, dispute or difference which may arise out of, or in connection with your use of the My Money site and the Services provided.
UKPTL, UKLAP and AISUKL does not seek to exclude or limit any liability they may have under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 or the rules of their Regulators which they are bound to comply with.
